N3050001 Building: the field like property is built with the castle and grove forest.  There is a preceding 5-stage terrace, the castle market garden building and the coachman's house.

 Parts of the field part are taken up by the castle park with extensive borders and retaining walls.  The buildings is empty and the castle association takes care of the buildings and of the outside arrangements.

(Castle park) Interior and utilities do not exist.  The buildings are from stone and are very spacious.

 Everything must be renovated.  The property is opened for electricity, water, waste water and telephone connections.

 The surface of the property is flat, apart from a strong sloped inclination in southeast and eastern direction for relief.  The castle has a possible effective area of approx.

1 910 m ².  Cellar floor exists.

 The arrangement of extensive open spaces and parking spaces is possible.  The castle was newly built from 1749 to 1753 by the Lord Samuel Frederick von Canitz.

 In 1882 to 1883 a transformation of the castle took place.  The new castle represented one of the most important homes of the aristocracy in the most eastern Lusatia.

 It is positioned on the steep Mandau mountain back.  The park still shows elements of French and English garden architecture.

 The three-winged arrangement possesses buildings to the south and east side wings as well as a semicircular main building on the central part which towers high above the mansard roof.  In the central part is the central access with the baroque gate which is flanked by ionic pillars.

 These carry the swinging gable with the alliance coat of arms of Canitz and Cyaw.  According to the information of the conservation of monuments and historic buildings authority, preservation measures are only in effect for the facade.

 The renewal of the facade has to take place because the last reconstruction happened in 1882/1883.
