N580075 The beautiful island in the lagoon of Grado encloses an impressive 35000 m ² (incl dock).  Old stock of trees and beautiful spacious green lawns care for an inviting Mediterranean atmosphere.

 The island has its own fresh water well.  On the island are two buildings with storage sheds which could be renewed and revitalized with the same equipment and materials.

 The owners have approved a connection to the open sea!  On the island is a building that was once used as a restaurant and was also popular for weddings and events. The beautiful mediterranean old-section of Grado can be reached within 10-15 min on the lake way.

 People are drawn by the unique landscape and the clear sea, from the mild climate, the salutary effect of the iodine in the air and the therapeutic quality of the sand.  It is like a miracle drug against rheumatic illnesses and arthritis.

 There are two sides to Grado: on the one hand, it is a modern bathing resort, and on the other, there is the oldest part of the town which is reminiscent of Venice with its close little alleys and small nooks and crannies.  The basilica San Eufemia, the baptistry and the church Santa Maria Delle Grazie are some of the oldest churches of the Christian era.

 Giovanni Rumici, natural scientist and researcher of local tradition reports: - Grado used to be based on the fishing.  This year the bluewater also draws people to Grado.
